• We thank students, parents, Experience Language Studio, Vichy Elementary School and the Napa Unified School District for their tremendous support in the Spring session to make our program a huge success!!!  It is very exciting for us to move into the Multi-Purpose Room in order to accommodate more students.

 

• We will continue to offer scholarships help children in our immediate community and donate to efforts outside of the United States, most likely UNICEF with their relief and humanitarian efforts.

 

• We will also try to figure out a way to create cost effect STEM kits to donate to children who don’t have access to them.

Vichy Mandarin & Tinkering After School Program Fall 2018

 

• We are officially a Maker Camp Affiliate!  Just one day before our first Summer Camp, we have received the wonderful news of joining the Maker community.  The tinkering aspect of our Mandarin & Tinkering class has been inspired by the Maker community and we hope to meet other makers in our community in Napa.

 

• We received requests from parents with students in other schools to join our enrichment program.  Our summer camp offers open enrollment to students from Vichy Elementary and other schools.  We hope to catch up with students who are around this summer and meet new students interested in what we are doing.

 

• Summer is super busy and we hope everyone is having too much fun to miss us if you can’t make it to our summer camp.  We will be moving into the Multi-Purpose Room this Fall to accommodate more students.  We are excited to continue our after school enrichment program in a couple of months.

• We had tremendous support from Experience Language Studio, Vichy Elementary School, the Napa Unified School District and all the parents who entrusted us with their children.  There were 21 students and we were able to offer 3 full scholarships and several sibling discount scholarships.

 

• 10 % of the class tuition collected was donated to UNICEF, where they matched the donations for the month of June 2018.  The students were fascinated by how our donations were matched and loved the analogy of getting two presents for the price of one.

 

• All this could not have happened without the help and support from these organization, parents and students in our community.
